Manufacturing Test Technician Position

Duties

Conduct comprehensive testing of manufactured electronic assemblies, including printed circuit boards (PCBs) and complete systems, to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
Perform root cause analysis on failed units by analyzing schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and system logs to identify issues efficiently.
Maintain detailed documentation of test results, troubleshooting steps, and equipment calibration records to ensure traceability and quality control.
Assist in developing and updating test procedures to improve testing workflows.
Support equipment maintenance and repair activities for testing stations and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineering teams on project scheduling and process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Use electrical measurement tools such as ohmmeters for circuit verification and debugging purposes.

Experience

Proven experience in manufacturing or electronics testing environments with a strong background in electrical engineering principles.
Hands-on expertise with PCB assembly, soldering techniques, and electrical wiring troubleshooting.
Ability to perform root cause analysis using debugging tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters while maintaining safety standards per NEC guidelines.
Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance using hand tools is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, project scheduling methodologies, and quality assurance protocols within a fast-paced production setting.
