Full IP67 Sealing
Dust-tight construction with O-ring sealed body and lens tube for protection against temporary water immersion.
KAYA Vision Custom IP67 Enclosures
KAYA Vision designs and manufactures fully custom IP67 enclosures for industrial, aerospace, broadcast and outdoor machine vision systems. Pick the camera, the lens, the lens tube, and the environmental options — we build the housing around them.
Dust-tight construction with O-ring sealed body and lens tube for protection against temporary water immersion.
Anodised aluminium body acts as a heat sink, helping the enclosed camera maintain stable operating temperature.
Engineered to withstand high-vibration and high-impact industrial settings while maintaining precise optical alignment
Discrete lens tube, body, and rear cap modules let teams change optics or service connectors in the field.
How The Enclosure Is Built
Each KAYA IP67 enclosure is composed of a sealed body, a lens tube and a rear interface. Every module has selectable options so the final housing matches the camera, optics, mounting and environment of your application.
Machined aluminium chassis sized around the chosen KAYA camera, with O-ring sealing and anodised finish.
Sealed lens tube selected by lens length and diameter.
Versatile rear cap assembly configured for high-bandwidth data transmission and secure power delivery.
Featured Configuration
A real example of how the platform comes together: a KAYA Iron SDI 305C camera with a 4.7mm lens, integrated into a compact IP67 enclosure. This build is sealed but not nitrogen-purged, and has no heater installed.
IP67 Camera Enclosure FAQ
The enclosure can be built around almost any C-mount, CS-mount, EF-mount, or M42-mount lens that fits the selected KAYA camera. The lens tube length is machined to match the specific optics, whether it's a compact 4.7mm fixed focal lens or a longer telephoto or motorised zoom lens.
A standard sealed-air IP67 enclosure (like the featured build) is ideal when the application stays inside the camera's non-condensing operating range and does not see severe pressure or temperature cycling. Dry nitrogen purge is added when humidity, rapid dew-point crossing, or condensation on the window or lens would degrade imaging — common in outdoor surveillance, marine and high-altitude applications. Both options are available from KAYA.
A heater is added when the system has to start up below freezing, when window fogging or frost would occur, or when the lens would otherwise exit its specified range. The featured IRON305C-SDI-RC-ENC4.7mm build does not require a heater.
Cable exits are configured based on the camera interface. For cameras, a sealed Micro-BNC pass-through is typically used alongside a sealed power/control cable gland. The rear interface ensures the IP67 rating is maintained at all connection points.
Custom IP67 Enclosure Builds
KAYA Vision matches the camera, lens, lens tube, thermal design and qualification level to your platform. The IRON305C-SDI-RC-ENC4.7mm shown above is one example of what that produces.
